Key skills
Profile
A graduate engineer from Centrale Nantes (specialisation in hydrodynamics and ocean engineering), I have been working in offshore since 2012. My career began in Oil & Gas — naval architecture and engineering at TotalEnergies, then nearly eight years at TechnipFMC in installation engineering, field engineering and operations — before moving into offshore wind, where I now lead the offshore construction of a wind farm in France.
What I bring is partly down to a simple fact: I have spent over 120 weeks at sea, across more than 10 construction vessels, on rotation. I do not discover the constraints of an offshore operation through a report — I have lived them. This dual culture, field and office, Oil & Gas and wind, allows me to speak equally to engineering teams and vessel crews, and to transfer proven methods from one sector to the other.
Kappontos is my independent consulting structure: I bring the rigour acquired on major international projects together with the availability and commitment of a freelance expert — one point of contact, directly involved in your operation.
